Maximilian Graf graduated from the DHBW Mannheim with a bachelor’s degree in Information System Engineering - Data Science and the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT) master’s in Information System Engineering. With his corporate partner Deutsche Bahn, he developed data intelligence solutions for controllers and a predictive maintenance tool for train supervision. This lead to an interest in finding novel ways to extract value from AI systems. As a working student at SAP, Maximilian first helped develop an internal agent framework, before switching to end-to-end automation of (code) issue reolution.
In October 2026, Maximilian joined DPS to develop AI under uncertainty, explore how humans can work together efficiently with AI systems and critically examine AI reliance.
